USB 3.0 Connection

USB is available on all modern laptops and Ultrabooks, and the Docking Station's USB 3.0 connection means setup is fast with plug-and-play connectivity. USB 3.0 delivers high-speed data transfer of up to 5 Gbps--10 times faster than USB 2.0. And it's fully backwards-compatible with previous USB versions to work with older hardware.

Most devices can connect to the dock via USB, making it easy to plug and un-plug for meetings or portability. No messing with proprietary docks, confusing suspend/undock routines, or potential data loss from a poor dock connection.
