Lightning Dock Simplifies Charging and Syncing

Charging your Apple device with the Belkin Express Dock for iPad is fast and easy. Simply plug your device into the dock's integrated Lightning dock connector, and then plug the dock into your PC or laptop with the attached 4-foot USB cable. The dock uses your computer's existing power supply to charge your Apple device. While docked, your device can also automatically sync with your computer's iTunes library.

Can I use this dock to charge from the wall?

Yes. When you want to charge from the wall, simply plug the USB cable into your iPad charger.

Will this dock sync my iPad when it's plugged into the wall?

No. To sync your iPad (4th generation), iPad mini, iPhone 5, or iPod touch (5th generation), plug the USB cable into your computer's USB port.

Why is my iPad not charging when the dock is connected to my computer?

Some USB ports do not have enough power to charge an iPad. When this occurs, please use a USB wall charger

Do all cases work with the dock?

The Express dock is compatible with most--but not all--cases. If the case you have is open at the base so your AUX jack, speakers, and lightning connector port are all fully exposed, the phone should dock easily into place without removing the case. If you use a more protective case that fully wraps around your entire phone, you will need to remove it to dock.

Do I need a separate Lighting-to-USB cable?

No. The Lightning connector is built into the dock, so you're ready to charge and sync as soon as you take the dock out of the box.
